Useful but too expensive

Micro magnetic plates are very useful for strategically making gains. However, the price is too much for what you get. You can add magnets to other pieces of steel for less.
I suppose the convenience is worth the cost to many.

Lifesavers

For context, I have Ironmaster Adjustable Dumbbells. Recently, I hit a plateau within my strength progression where it was increasingly difficult to jump up by 2.5 lbs per dumbbell. Thankfully, I found these online and reached out. The customer support was amazing and quickly addressed my hesitation with the proof of their compatibility with my dumbbells. Due to that level of service, I purchased these and have continued my progression between .25-1 lb per dumbbell until I was strong enough to jump up by 2.5 lb once again. Now, these have become a staple for all movements that require smaller, incremental, jumps in weight. I highly recommend these for their durability (thus far) and size. If they can fit on my dumbbells, I'm sure they'll work on yours. Make sure to do your own research but, from me, these were a game changer for my ongoing health journey and transformation.

Be aware of what you want to stick these to

Fundamentally, they work. But my gym has polyurethane coated dumbbells and plates. They don't stick. Bummer because I wanted them for dumbbells. They will stick to the bar which I have one application where that works well. So just be aware.

I did have magnets pull out but an easy fix with some epoxy. Maybe a better epoxy is needed? They are very well made otherwise.

The Tool You Need To Keep Progressing

I've looked at the Micro Gainz for a while and finally bought a set. They have allowed me to continue to progress in my reps and sets without having to take major jumps. As someone who has lifted for several years some exercises are hard to take 5-10 pound jumps in weight. With the Micro Gainz I'm able to build up to those 5-10 pound jumps more effectively and safely.

Works really quickly

No need to un-clip, change weights, then re-clip. These work really quickly.
