These plates are awesome. Great quality and fit my bar perfectly. They allow me to go up in weight on my pressing. I am 68 and can't take as big of jumps anymore. I also love buying American made products.

Great plates

Recently picked up an 8-plate set. My 8 year old has been experimenting with weight lifting and 2.5 lb increments was proving to be too large of a jump for him on some movements. These Micro Gainz plates literally filled that gap. They seem to be very well made, and they look great. Only real complaint I would have is that they have some pretty sharp edges. Haven't figured out if it's just the finish, or the metal itself, but they are quite sharp. Not so sharp I'm worried about safety, but might do a number to coated barbell sleeves, if you have them. Overall, thrilled with my purchase and glad I didn't go another route.
