Micro Gainz 1.25LB Magnetic Weight Attachment for Nuobell Adjustable Dumbbells

So simple and integrated beautifully with my Nuobells. Although US based I originally sought to buy European Nuos because they are in KGs and this smaller increments. Shipping was prohibitively expensive so i bought the US with 5lb increments. Now my wife can have 5, 6.25, 7.5 before graduating to 10.

The imbalance is definitely noticeable but in my perspective a positive. Wrist curls are improved. Otherwise i like thr imbalance as the real world is often unbalanced and it makes for a better equivalent experience.

Finally if you are willing to work at 2.5 lbs put one on the outside opposite position. They stay on and easily snap off for docking and weight adjustments.

These magnetic clip on weights are great. They're exactly as advertised. They integrate with my adjustable dumbells as if they were a part of the original design. Easy to put on and take off, and the hold tight during work outs

The Micro Gainz plates for Nuobells integrate well into the Nuobells to add intermediate weight jumps. The magnets make installation and removal simple and quick; with the bonus of easily storing right to the Nuobell stand, plate rack, power rack, etc.

The only drawback I've observed so far is that the Nuobells become unbalanced due to the added weight and will want to rotate in your hands. This is especially apparent on lifts like lateral raises where the Micro Gainz plates may be positioned at the top of the dumbbell when you start the movement, but are positioned on at the side near the top of the movement.

Just when I didnt think nuobells could get any better, these come along.
